Just as the title says, pretty self-explanatory (certain stages I especially

A new feature to ZD, 'Your Zelda Ending', is a section dedicated for fans to submit their own endings to any Zelda game. This can be done via writing the alternate ending, faked screenshots, or whatever else you can think of. Storm clouds roll in, slow and in light rumbles. Instead of seeking a shelter or making a dash to the castle, my hand finds the pommel of my sword. I draw it, give a few practice swings, and end up falling into my typical training routine even as water droplets begin pelting on me. I feel light on my feet. I feel happy knowing I impressed her. I'm looking forward to Hyrule Warriors when it goes on sale because it seems like it will not have some of the annoyances I have with Fire Emblem Warriors and be fun fan service. Whereas Aonuma's Puzzle Zelda's (Wind Waker to Skyward Sword) increasingly reduce combat to focus on puzzles, Warriors does the opposite, and is good for simple fun. Today, Koei-Tecmo opened the official website for Hyrule Warriors Legends in Japan (where it’s known as Zelda Musou: Hyrule All-Stars), which can be found there. Unfortunately, there’s is nothing really new in there, as the screenshots and the trailer are the same as those revealed during E3 this week.

However, there’s some interesting tidbits in there, starting with the release date: Hyrule Warriors Legends will also come out in 2016 (Spring) in Japan. We only got a vague Early 2016 for Europe and North America, but there’s no doubt we will get the game more or less at the same time.

The website also gives some additional details about the new characters that you can unlock in Hyrule Warriors on Wii U thanks to Hyrule Warriors Legends on Nintendo 3DS. First of all, and quite logically, you can only get one “copy” of each character for the Wii U game.

Hyrule

Also, you cannot transfer DLC characters (such as Young Link or Tingle) from Hyrule Warriors Legends (where they’re included from the start) to Hyrule Warriors, which means you will have to buy them separately if you wish to play with them in the Wii U version.

Finally, in order to celebrate this announcement, Hyrule Warriors on Wii U is getting a special sale on the Nintendo eShop in Japan (just like in Europe and North America), where it’s available for “only” 5000 Yen (instead of 6 980 Yen) until June 24th.

Here’s a new screenshot for Hyrule Warriors Legends, as well as an artwork for the Classic Link costume for Hyrule Warriors.

Hyrule Warriors Legends (3DS) comes out in Spring, worldwide.
